On 27 May 2021, Bila Tserkva town hosted the first awareness raising workshop within the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme in Ukraine (GEIPP) and motivated manufacturing companies belonging to Bilotserkivskyi Vantazhnyi Aviatsiynyi Kompleks (BVAK) join the “GEIPP Ukraine” Project. On April 29, 2021 an online consultation workshop was held in the framework of the preparatory phase of the UNIDO project “The Global Greenchem Innovation and Network Programme” (Greenchem) in Ukraine funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Waste Mapping has started in Ukraine within the framework of “Circular Economy and New Growth Opportunities” Component of the EU-funded “EU4Environment” Action. The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre) is the national partner for United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in implementing this component.
The main purpose of waste mapping is identification, assessment and mapping waste generation at industrial enterprises in the selected pilot communities in order to develop resource efficiency measures based on circular economy practices.

On December 16, 2020, the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre hold the national online conference “Ecomoderization of Ukrainian industry: from resource efficiency to circular economy”. It became a landmark event for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) project “Promoting the Adaptation and Adoption of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production through the Establishment and Operation of a Cleaner Production Centre in Ukraine” and for the Cleaner Production Centre (Centre).
