On May 7th, 2019, the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre carried out an informational seminar “RECP Implementation Advantages in National Industry”. This time, the seminar took place in the town of Novohrad-Volynskyi (Zhytomyr oblast) with the support of Local Municipal Council. The event attended entrepreneurs, industrial representatives and Municipal Council officials invited in advance.
The First Deputy Mayor of Novohrad-Volynskyi Serhii Kolotov made a warm opening of the seminar with a short introduction speech. The floor was then given to Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre’s Director Andrii Vorfolomeiev, who greeted all the participants and informed them on RECP implementation in national industry and activities done by the Centre within UNIDO Project “Promoting the Adaptation and Adoption of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) through the Establishment and Operation of a Cleaner Production Centre (CPC) in Ukraine”.
The core part of the seminar was moderated basically by its main speaker, RECP Centre Regional Coordinator Olexiy Tchaykovs’ky. Having his PPT at hand, he managed to deliver lots of useful information for seminar participants. O. Tchaykovs’ky focused on the issues of UNIDO RECP Project realization in Ukraine, its components and implementation stages, positive benefits granted at the end of implementing resource efficient solutions in production processes. The procedure to involve potential clients to the Project, the role and functions of RECP Centre experts within overall Project implementation – all these items became the integral part of the speaker’s presentation. To finalize the seminar with a positive note and give undeniable proofs of the benefits and advantages the UNIDO Project grants to its participants along cooperation with companies and enteprises, Olexiy Tchaykovs’ky emphasized on the case study about increasing resource efficiency and improving technological processes at the facilities of “Herus Volodymyr Adamovych” entrepreneur.
