JOIN THE INTERNATIONAL GREEN CHEMISTRY PROJECT!

In 2023, the Global GreenChem Innovation and Network Programme launched in Ukraine. It aims to strengthen the sound management of industrial chemicals and their waste through better control, reduction, and/or elimination protocols, and specifically to scale up green chemistry solutions for persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and mercury replacement through capacity building, innovation, and the creation of a global green chemistry network fostering visibility, support, and implementation.  

The Programme is funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and executed by Yale University (USA) in close collaboration with governmental counterparts of six beneficiary focus countries (Indonesia, Jordan, Peru, Serbia, Uganda, and Ukraine).

Ukraine is on its path to European integration and the harmonization of its legislation with EU standards. In particular, in 2022, the laws “On Chemical Safety and Chemical Products Management ” and “On Waste Management” were adopted, which strengthen control over the circulation of chemical products and aim to prevent goods containing hazardous substances from entering the market. Therefore, Ukrainian companies need to prepare for the entry into force of these laws in a timely manner. 

We invite you to join this international project as a demonstration company (participation is free of charge and requires signing a contract with confidentiality clauses). Your company can become an example of successful implementation of new technologies and innovations, as well as receive the following benefits:
