Elaborating a Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP)

SECAP itself is actually a set of strategic projects aiming to boost the development and improvement of the cities/towns/amalgamated territorial communities (ATC)/ regions, their industries and public life. Apart, it accounts for possible financial mechanisms and sources required for these improvements and their environmental impact in terms of CO₂ reduction.  

SECAP overarches institutions in all spheres of public and private property, namely:

• buildings (including new buildings and renovation of old buildings);
• municipal infrastructure (urban heat supply and street lighting);
• public transport;
• industry and entrepreneurship.

SECAP implementation offers promising strategic changes in the city/town/ATC/region, start to efficient energy consumption and overall GHG emissions reduction within the city/town/ATC/region.

SECAP elaboration will takes from 4 to 6 months, the Customer will receive a report (based on the Covenant of Mayors Office template) developed within Joint EU Commission Research Centre participation.
