Elaborating a Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP)
SECAP itself is actually a set of strategic projects aiming to boost the development and improvement of the cities/towns/amalgamated territorial communities (ATC)/ regions, their industries and public life. Apart, it accounts for possible financial mechanisms and sources required for these improvements and their environmental impact in terms of CO2 reduction.
SECAP overarches institutions in all spheres of public and private property, namely:
- buildings (including new buildings and renovation of old buildings);
- municipal infrastructure (urban heat supply and street lighting);
- public transport;
- industry and entrepreneurship.
SECAP implementation offers promising strategic changes in the city/town/ATC/region, start to efficient energy consumption and overall GHG emissions reduction within the city/town/ATC/region.
SECAP elaboration will takes from 4 to 6 months, the Customer will receive a report (based on the Covenant of Mayors Office template) developed within Joint EU Commission Research Centre participation.
