Industrial enterprises pollute environment greatly and the air in particular. Imperfect technological processes and equipment produce gases containing various toxicity, organic liquids vapours, fine dispersed drops and solid particles, and all of them enter the atmosphere. Gas purification systems are mostly outdated, designed installed with no respect to environment, modern economic and environmental requirements.

The concentrations of harmful substances is many times higher in the industrialized regions of Ukraine comparative to standards. The environmental situation today is constantly deteriorating, and the problem of gas purification has become a national challenge.
