Headed to strengthen activities in Sound Chemicals Management, there’s a job opening for Experts on Chemical Leasing and Sound Chemicals Management to join the Chemical Unit

  • Complementing assessments in companies with a section on SCM, carrying out SCM assessments in companies;
  • Developing information and training materials on SCM;
  • Preparing and carrying out information and promotion events on SCM;
  • Reporting on SCM;
  • Monitoring the calls for proposals in the area of SCM;
  • Conducting a national SCM study;
  • Capacity development.
  • Specialist’s/Master’s Degree (Chemical area);
  • Work experience in this field;
  • Sufficient communications skills in English.
  • Experience working with industrial companies (in the area of resource efficiency, SCM);
  • Experience in carrying out trainings in front of an audience;
  • Skills in project proposal development;
  • Certificates of participation in international trainings, courses.
  • Full/part time work at the RECPC office (Kyiv);
  • Business trips;
  • Contractual salary.

**The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECPC), established in the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization project, promotes the resource efficient and cleaner production (RECP) strategy and its implementation in national industry helping companies to improve economic and environmental performance. The RECPC facilitates Ukraine’s transition to a green economy model that enables decoupling economic growth and impact on the environment, contributes to Sustainable Development Goals implementation in Ukraine. We analyze the economic and technological unreasonable consumption of energy, materials and water, generation of waste and emissions, as well as the use of chemicals. Based on the results of the obtained data, we develop technical options for resource efficiency. The options implementation helps increasing resource efficiency and competitiveness of the companies. Since its establishment in 2013, the RECPC has conducted assessments in more than 150 industrial companies and participated in 8 international projects.
