A circular economy is an economic system of closed loops in which raw materials, components and products lose their value as little as possible, renewable energy sources are used and systems thinking is at the core. Circular economy is part of sustainable development of the country and requires a transition from linear to circular type of thinking as a must. Such an economy seeks to decouple economic growth and the use of natural resources and ecosystems through a more efficient use of these resources. CE is the driver for innovations.
