Training Workshop “Recycling for Footwear and Apparel Industry”

All footwear and apparel producers are welcomed to join the online training workshop on 24-25 September 2020.

25 Sept 2020 10:00-14:00 (registration 9:30)

ZOOM will be the communication platform. We arranged Ukrainian and English translation for your convenience.

Key speaker: Dr. Johannes Fresner, an international UNIDO consultant. 

The workshop is designed to support the recycling of waste in light industry and to inform the participants about recycling methods, the use of resource potential in recycling both textile and footwear waste, as well as to prepare experts ready to work with enterprises.

Keynotes:
– European legal framework, initiatives, circular strategies at company level
– Basics of recycling: analysis of waste generation, separation, generic recycling opportunities
– Materials used in footwear and textiles , recycling options, feasibility
– Business models
