The course addresses the importance of the circular economy, its principles, strategies, practices and business models, as well as the means to promote its implementation at the country or community level. It offers practical cases from Ukraine and around the world.
The course will be of interest to representatives of government (at various levels), civil society and anyone interested in the implementation of the circular economy in Ukraine.
The course comprises three modules:
- Importance and role of the circular economy
- Principles, strategies and business models of the circular economy
- Policies to support the implementation of the circular economy.
The estimated time to complete the course is 5 hours. After passing the final exam, you will receive a certificate of completion (10 hours, including independent work).

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. If you already have a personal account on the UNIDO platform, please log in. If not, please create an account on this platform (profile name in English lowercase) by filling in all the required fields. Please enter your first and last name in English as this is the language in which the certificate will be issued.

2. Follow the link in the email to log in to your personal account.
3. Set up your profile in your personal account (select the Ukrainian language, choose a time zone, select your gender identity).

4. To start the training, use the direct link to the course available on the RECP Centre website. Register for the course on the home page.

5. In the future you will be able to access the course via a direct link or via the ‘My Courses’ tab. The course page contains information about the course, the training pack and the certificate. The certificate will only be available once you have completed the course and passed the final test.

6. Your profile settings are complete and you can proceed to the course. You now have a personal account, a home page and a calendar. You can also use the keyword search to find and join other courses available on this learning platform.

7. Click on the ‘Training Package’ button. Please note that pop-ups must be enabled for this page. If you have not done so, you will need to give permission and refresh the page. The course window will open in a separate browser window.

8. You can then start the training by clicking the appropriate button. Voice guidance is optional and can be switched off in the settings of the browser page. Instructions on how to complete the course are provided on the first slide. You can always exit the course with your progress saved and continue from the same place.
9. If you pass the final exam, you will receive a certificate. Click ‘Get Certificate’ to download it to your computer. Before doing so, we recommend that you change the platform language to English to ensure that the date is displayed correctly in the system language.
