The RECP Centre announces a competition for the position of
Project Assistant
– Participation in international technical assistance projects in the field of chemicals management
– Development of information and promotional materials
– Preparation and implementation of information and training events
– Preparation of reports on the results of the work carried out
– Networking and cooperation with key stakeholders (governmental and non-governmental organisations, scientific institutions, private sector, etc.)
– Monitoring of project proposals
– Higher education (preference given to candidates with a degree in chemistry or environmental science)
– Intermediate level or above in written and spoken English
– Confident use of PC and MS Office
– Excellent communication and organisational skills
– Willingness to travel and work in a multicultural environment
– Experience working with international projects/teams
– Basic knowledge of communication and SMM basics
– Knowledge of project management
– Experience in organizing information sessions
We are willing to consider applications from final-year students and graduates.
– Formal employment
– Contractual salary (depending on the candidate’s qualifications and the results of the interview)
– Working hours from 9-00 to 18-00 – Work in an office (with a shelter) near the metro station (Politekhnichnyi Instytut)

**The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre), established under the United Nations Industrial Development Project, promotes the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production strategy and its implementation in Ukrainian industry, helping enterprises to improve their economic and environmental performance. The RECP Centre promotes Ukraine’s transition to a green economy model that harmoniously combines society’s economic demands with the need for continuous environmental restoration and preservation, and supports the implementation of global sustainable development goals in Ukraine.
We analyse companies’ economically and technologically inappropriate consumption of energy, materials and water, waste, emissions and effluents, as well as the use of chemicals. Based on the findings, we develop technical solutions for the efficient use of resources. The implementation of these solutions helps to improve the resource efficiency and competitiveness of companies.
Since its establishment in 2013, the RECP Centre has carried out technical assessments of more than 250 industrial facilities and is a participant and implementer in 10 international projects.
