Circular economy, resource efficiency, and green chemistry

Join our unique training session “SAFE CHEMICALS FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS: FROM PRINCIPLES TO PRACTICE “ where you’ll learn how to create chemicals that not only meet high quality standards but are also safe for people and the environment.

  • Date: 01.10.2025
  • Time:14-16.00
  • Language: Ukrainian
  • Platform:  MS Teams

Why is this important? In today’s consumer goods market, chemical safety isn’t just a trend—it’s an urgent necessity. The health of consumers, environmental protection, strict legal regulations, and your brand’s competitiveness all depend on how responsibly you address this issue.

During the training, we will cover:

  • Conceptual Foundations of “Green Chemistry”: You’ll learn to distinguish between a “less hazardous” chemical and a “truly safe” one. We’ll analyze real-world examples of the negative effects of substances like PFAS, phthalates, and Bisphenol-A, which are found in everyday products.
  • Principles for Developing Safer Chemicals: We will focus on toxicological and environmental aspects that help reduce health risks and minimize environmental impact. You’ll learn to use the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool for making informed decisions.
  • Practical Examples: We’ll demonstrate how these principles are applied in various fields: from household cleaners and cosmetics to packaging, textiles, and electronics.
  • Challenges and Prospects: We will examine the main barriers to implementing safer chemicals, and we’ll discuss new trends such as bio-resources, green-by-design approaches, and digital tools.
  • Practical Task: Participants will have the opportunity to solidify their knowledge by completing a practical task.

We’ll conclude the training with a final discussion and a Q&A session, where you can get detailed answers from an expert.

Join us and become a leader in safe innovation!
