    On November 5, 2020, the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre will hold an online event dedicated to familiarizing with practices and strategies in implementing RECP at industrial companies located in Western Ukraine. Another interesting agenda topic is about developing an ecosystem of sustainable entrepreneurship, climate innovation and green economy in Ukraine.

    Everyone who is interested or cares about resource efficiency in his work is welcomed to join the event.

    Participation for free, but prior registration is mandatory.

    The online event is organized within the framework of UNIDO Project Promoting the Adaptation and Adoption of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) through the Establishment and Operation of a Cleaner Production Centre (CPC) in Ukraine”  with the support of Switzerland and Austria.

    Organizer: Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre).

    The online event will cover the following topics:
    – practical aspects of RECP implementation outputs in Eastern region
    – RECP Centre’s cooperation with industrial enterprises in Eastern region
    – specifics in dealing with industrial enterprises and expertise in introducing RECP approaches
    – cooperation with the RECP Centre in international projects and related outcomes

    Representatives from enterprises, companies, organizations and stakeholders interested in gender issues are welcomed to join
    the 2-day online training workshop on 25-26 November 2020.

    The main objective of the training workshop is to encompass gender analysis in the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) assessing gender-differentiated impacts of the project issues in six countries, collect sex-disaggregated baseline data, identifying government agencies, NGOs, community-based organizations, and women’s associations or groups whose work focuses on gender and the environment.

            25 November 2020 10:00-14:00 (registration at 9:30)
            26 November 2020 10:00-14:00 (registration at 9:30)

    Format: web-based video conferencing

    Language: Ukrainian

    Key speaker: Mr. Mykhailo Koriukalov, Expert on Monitoring, Evaluation and Gender Mainstreaming

    During the training, participants will learn:

           – Key concepts – gender and sex, discrimination, equal rights, equal opportunities, gender mainstreaming;
           – Gender stereotypes and how they affect decision-making;
           – Legal framework on gender – national and international;
           – Key statistics and parameters on gender in the project countries;
           – Gender aspects of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production and Circular Economy.
