The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Centre plays an important role in supporting the green modernisation of Ukraine’s economy by promoting resource efficient and cleaner production practices among industrial enterprises. RECP improves economic performance, reduces industrial risks to people, and minimises environmental impacts through practical technical solutions.

The Centre works closely with international projects and organisations, expert and consulting companies, government agencies, financial institutions, business associations, academia and educational institutions across Ukraine, fostering strong partnerships and effective collaboration to achieve these objectives.

The seminar will offer several compelling topics for its target audience industrial companies and university staff, in particular. The topics announced are: Sound Chemicals Management as a new Centre’s activity; the fifth Global Chemical Leasing Award 2020 and participation details within UNIDO project (announcement). Apart, the Global Chemical Leasing Award 2018 winners from Ukraine are also invited for the seminar. They will share their own experience in ChL implementation, participation in the 4^th Global Chemical Leasing Award 2018. Success stories

The outdated heating system in our college was upgraded thanks to an energy audit conducted by RECP Centre experts. The installation of an individual heating substation with weather-dependent regulation effectively solved the issue, reducing heating costs by 50%.
