RECP helps you save resources and reduce costs

The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Centre plays an important role in supporting the green modernisation of Ukraine’s economy by promoting resource efficient and cleaner production practices among industrial enterprises. RECP improves economic performance, reduces industrial risks to people, and minimises environmental impacts through practical technical solutions.

The Centre works closely with international projects and organisations, expert and consulting companies, government agencies, financial institutions, business associations, academia and educational institutions across Ukraine, fostering strong partnerships and effective collaboration to achieve these objectives.

    The aim of the training is to provide participants with the necessary skills and materials to promote Green Chemistry and to raise awareness among stakeholders of the application of Green Chemistry approaches.

    Languages:        English (simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian is provided)
    Speakers:          Representatives from the Centre for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale University (USA),
                              International and national experts in green chemistry and innovation.
    Audience:          Representatives of educational and research institutions, professional organisations,
                              trade associations, industrial companies, authorities interested in and dealing with issues
                              related to chemical sector, green chemistry and engineering, green industry,
                              circular economy and environmental protection.

    After the entire training, you will be able to:

    • Gain a thorough understanding of the concept of Green Chemistry, including its origins, underlying principles and available technologies, and learn how it contributes to achieving environmental and economic goals to benefit society.
    • Acquire the skills and materials necessary to become a Green Chemistry Facilitator and share information about Green Chemistry with your networks using practical and real-world examples that encourage change.
    • Help promote green chemistry in Ukraine by participating as an expert or mentor in the Green Chemistry Programme and the Green Chemistry Accelerator.

    Participants who take part in all the training sessions will receive a certificate as a Green Chemistry Facilitator.

The outdated heating system in our college was upgraded thanks to an energy audit conducted by RECP Centre experts. The installation of an individual heating substation with weather-dependent regulation effectively solved the issue, reducing heating costs by 50%.
