The Global GreenChem Innovation and Network Programme in Ukraine (kick-off stakeholders meeting)

The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre in Ukraine welcomes on the online event “Presentation of the Global GreenChem Innovation and Network Programme in Ukraine”.

The Global GreenChem Innovation and Network Programme aims to:

          1. Strengthen the sound management of industrial chemicals and their waste through better control, reduction, and/or elimination protocols, and
          2. Scale up green chemistry solutions for persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and mercury replacement through capacity building, innovation, and the creation of a global green chemistry network fostering visibility, support, and implementation.

The event will be open to all stakeholders interested in and working on issues related to chemical sector, green chemistry, industry, circular economy and environmental protection. The event will bring together representatives from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, UNIDO, Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale University (USA), Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre), key national stakeholders, representatives from companies and organizations, projects and programmes, associations, NGOs, academics and research institutes.
