First RECP Club Meetings within EU4Environment Programme
2 RECP Clubs started in December 2019, one in Poltava on 17th December, the other – in Khmelnytskyi on 19th December.
The participants were granted a chance to:
- study basic RECP practices;
- create RECP company profile;
- analyze solutions for typical problems in resource consumption;
- identify indicators for RECP assessments.
Ivan Omelchuk, the RECP CLubs facilitator informed the participants of the fundamentals for RECP Clubs activities, training modules and opportunities for RECP Club participants.
The participants presented their businesses one by one and expressed their expectations towards RECP Club activities.
In Khmelnitsky, the RECP Club Coordinator Volodymyr Popovych shared with the participants fundamental info about RECP methodology, structure of RECP meetings and the ways the club organizers provide technical support to Club members.
Technical part of the meeting was presented by Oleksii Tchaikovsky, where he professionally dwelled on basic challenges with resource efficiency and environmental pollution in Ukrainian industries, and offered RECP principles and practices to solve problems with efficient resource use. Afterwards, the Club participants had a training exercise where they developed and analyzed the flowcharts of their enterprises.
The meeting ended up with a discussion on what further Club activities will be and the tasks for the next training workshop were agreed.
