Green Chemistry alternatives for POPs, mercury and micro-plastics for upscaling and replication
Goal
Demonstrate available alternatives and green chemistry potential in each of the six targeted participating countries. The project will analyze the situation in the country and organize national stakeholder consultations to identify the industrial sectors and companies that use POPs and mercury compounds in their operations. Based on the data obtained, one company will be selected to implement a demonstration project to replace POPs and mercury used in production with a more environmentally friendly alternative.
