WE ARE LOOKING FOR EXPERTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENTS!


If you want to acquire new knowledge on assessing the environmental impact of products and improve your professional skills, we invite you to participate in the pilot Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) assessment within the framework of the EU-funded EU4Environment Programme.
Requirements to applicants:
Skills:
– Knowledge on product life cycle assessment methodology;
– Life cycle assessment modelling, preferably SimaPro or similar software knowledge;
– Research activity (setting goals and objectives; data collection and analysing results; environmental impact assessment and search for efficient solutions; justifying feasibility of implemented measures);
– English language skills, capability to exchange knowledge with international experts;
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education:
Complete higher education (Master’s degree or higher) in business administration, management, engineering, ecology or subjects related to environmental protection, environmental safety or industrial ecology.
Professional experience:
– Environmental management and expertise with enterprises (3 years at least);
– Participation in international technical projects related to SMEs, industry and sustainable development;
– Participation in information events.
At the end, 35 applicants will be selected to participate in 3 PEF trainings (based on the results of the completed form), and several experts will be directly involved in the assessments (on a contractual basis).
