RECP helps you save resources and reduce costs

The Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Centre plays an important role in supporting the green modernisation of Ukraine’s economy by promoting resource efficient and cleaner production practices among industrial enterprises. RECP improves economic performance, reduces industrial risks to people, and minimises environmental impacts through practical technical solutions.

The Centre works closely with international projects and organisations, expert and consulting companies, government agencies, financial institutions, business associations, academia and educational institutions across Ukraine, fostering strong partnerships and effective collaboration to achieve these objectives.

The Global GreenChem Innovation and Network Programme aims to: 1. Strengthen the sound management of industrial chemicals and their waste through better control, reduction, and/or elimination protocols, and 2. Scale up green chemistry solutions for persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and mercury replacement through capacity building, innovation, and the creation of a global green chemistry network fostering visibility, support, and implementation. Date: 25 April 2023 Time: 14:00-16:00 (EET) Format: online using the Zoom platform Languages: English, Ukrainian (simultaneous interpretation) The event will be open to all stakeholders interested in and working on issues related to chemical sector, green chemistry, industry, circular economy and environmental protection. The event will bring together representatives from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, UNIDO, Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale University (USA), Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre), key national stakeholders, representatives from companies and organizations, projects and programmes, associations, NGOs, academics and research institutes. The outdated heating system in our college was upgraded thanks to an energy audit conducted by RECP Centre experts. The installation of an individual heating substation with weather-dependent regulation effectively solved the issue, reducing heating costs by 50%.
